Sleepovers
At Playful Pups Retreat, dogs spend the night in a private room with top-notch amenities. If you have more than one dog they can share a room at discounted rates. All of the dogs in our care receive individualized attention from our staff during their sleepovers with us.
If your dog is a daycare guest, our overnight sleepovers are like a slumber party with all of their furry friends in familiar surroundings, which helps to eliminate separation anxiety and other concerns associated with a traditional boarding kennel. Dogs who play all day return to their private rooms where they eat, sleep and rejuvenate for another day of fun with their pack members. Your dog will return home happily exhausted!
If you have not used our daycare services before, you are still welcome to bring your pup for a Sleepover with us. But he may not be able to participate in play time with our other guests unless he is friendly with other dogs and plays nicely in a group setting. For Sleepover dogs who are unable to participate in group play, we offer individualized attention and many trips outside to stretch their legs and relieve themselves.

Your dog’s food, preferably pre-measured into baggies for each meal they will eat while in our care.
Any necessary medications, with the bottles and dispensing instructions.
- A maximum of two toys for them to keep in their room overnight.
- We will provide a comfortable bed, blankets and bowls. You do not need to bring these items with you.

For your convenience, you may PICK UP
your dog from sleepover care during the following times: Monday - Friday from 9:00 am to 6:45 pm Saturday from 8:00 am to 4:45 pm. Sunday from 12:00 pm to 4:45 pm. Please let us know approximately when you will be coming so we can have your pup ready to go home at your arrival. |
Playful Pups Retreat Pet Health Warranty offers you peace of mind. You can be assured your pet will receive timely professional veterinary care, should the need arise, at no additional cost to you. This program has been endorsed by the PCSA and we are proud to offer this level of customer service to our clients.
Each guest who qualifies for the Pet Health Warranty Program will be assessed $1.00/day of their stay for optional participation in this program. Please be advised that not all pets are eligible for this program. Please see an employee for details on this program.

Sleepovers include one of the accommodations listed below, two feedings a day (breakfast and dinner) of your own food preferably, potty trips at least 4 to 5 times per day, medication administration if necessary and lots of love and attention. You may add-on to the basic sleepover services from the Extra TLC Add-On Services listed below.
A NOTE ABOUT OUR RATES: Our prices are based on a daily rate, rather than nightly. Your final price is determined by your drop off and pick up times. Please keep in mind that we are feeding, providing potty trips and caring for your pet throughout daytime hours.
Multi-Dog Sleepover Discount Rates
If you have two or more dogs sleeping over with us and they are able to share a guest room, each additional pup will stay for a discount of $5.00 off the standard rate.

Luxury suites are spacious 6'x8' and can accommodate large breed dogs or multiple dogs from the same household.
Double-dutch doors provide additional privacy. Television time is included in all Luxury Suites.

WINTER CLOSING NOTICE
Playful Pups Retreat will be closed for all services from Wednesday, January 18th, 2012 through Wednesday, January 25th, 2012. We will not be open for lodging or doggie daycare during this time frame. Please plan your vacations accordingly. We urge all of our clients to book early for any upcoming vacations to assure space.
ExtraT.L.C. Overnight Lodging Add-On Services
Full Day Daycare $14.00 ~ (with a sleepover) Let your pup join in on the fun while they are sleeping over. Dogs who participate in all-day daycare will romp and play with their furry friends before retiring to their rooms tired and ready to settle in for the evening. Group playtime is fully supervised at all times.
Half Day Daycare $10.00 ~ (with a sleepover) Let your pup join in on the fun while they are sleeping over. Dogs who participate in half day daycare will romp and play for four hours with their furry friends before retiring to their rooms tired and ready to settle in for the evening. Group playtime is fully supervised at all times.
Nature Walk $8.00 ~ your pooch will receive a 20-30 minute walk with one of our pack leaders during the day on our beautiful walking trail.
One-on-One Playtime $8.00 ~ your furry pal will get to play with a pack leader doing whatever he wants for a 20 minute session, chasing a Frisbee, playing ball, playing tag or maybe just snuggle time. You may choose one or more play-time sessions per day.
Training Time $14.00 ~ whether your pooch is a baby or just needs to work on his manners a bit, one of our pack leaders will spend 20 minutes working on basic obedience training. We use positive training methods, such as clicker training. Let us know if you have a specific issue you would like us to work on!
Stuffed Treat $3.00 - $5.00/$2.00 for refills ~ a sterilized bone will be filled with peanut butter for your pup to enjoy during the day or evening. This is a great way to keep your pup happy and occupied during his stay with us. We will refill the bone each day for only $2.00 each time. You get to keep the bone to take home and bring back for your next stay!
Good-bye Bath $12.00 - $26.00 ~ let us clean your furry friend up before they go home (coat restrictions apply). While we do our very best to keep every dog in our care as clean as possible, it is very possible that they will get a bit dirty from all the playing and fun they are going to have while staying with us!
Poochie Pedicure $12.00 ~ we will clip and sand your pups nails during his /her stay with us.

Pick-Up Times and Late Fees
If you pick up prior to 2:00 pm you will be charged only a half day rate for your final day. After these times our standard late pick-up fees
($10.00 for every 15 minutes extra staff must stay) will apply.
It is helpful if you can notify us of the time you plan to pick your dog up so we can have them ready to go home!
