SUMMARY:Manners 1 Group Class
DESCRIPTION:This class is designed as a beginner class for any age dog but is best for dogs over about 5 months of age. We suggest our Puppy Manners class for under 5 months. Using positive reinforcement with praise and rewards\, we teach verbal commands and hand signals for most exercises. We start with the basics; sit\, down\, watch me\, hold for greetings\, stay\, come when called\, walking on a leash\, leave it\, as well as some face and body handling exercises. This class runs for 6 weeks\, from July 14 to August 8.

SUMMARY:Manners 2 Group Class
DESCRIPTION:The Manners 2 class is an extension of the Manners 1 class\, working on enhancing the basic exercises learned and adding more distractions. Each class is segmented into three parts; Rally for fun\, Tricks/Games and Canine Good Citizen. All parts of this class work on establishing a stronger bond\, team building\, and growing confidence between the handler and dog. The Rally course includes walking a course and performing the exercise written on a sign\, i.e. Sit/Down\, Stay\, Left Turn\, etc. This is not a competition class\, but rather for having fun with your dog.
