Dog Grooming

The ideal grooming schedule depends on your dog’s breed, coat type, and lifestyle. Most dogs benefit from a professional bath and grooming every 4–8 weeks, while short-haired breeds may only need a bath and nail trim every couple of months. Our groomers are happy to recommend a schedule tailored to your pup’s needs.

Yes! Many of our guests enjoy a spa treatment while they’re here for daycare or overnight lodging. Simply let our team know when booking, and we’ll schedule their grooming appointment to coordinate with their stay — so they come home fresh, clean, and ready for cuddles.

For everyone’s safety, all dogs must be current on Rabies, Distemper/Parvovirus, and Bordetella vaccinations before their grooming appointment. Proof of vaccination can be provided by your veterinarian or uploaded through your client portal. Titer tests are also accepted.

Absolutely. Our grooming team is trained in low-stress handling and Fear Free–inspired techniques to make each visit as calm and positive as possible. We understand that some dogs may feel anxious about the grooming process, and we always move at your pup’s pace — using patience, praise, and plenty of reassurance.

For shy or nervous dogs, we may recommend a series of shorter, introductory appointments to help them gradually adjust to the sights, sounds, and sensations of grooming. This gentle approach helps build trust and confidence, turning future spa visits into a more enjoyable experience for your dog.

Matting can cause discomfort and skin irritation, so our priority is always your dog’s health and safety. If the coat is too tangled for a pain-free brushing, we may recommend a shorter “shave down” to remove the mats and allow healthy regrowth. Additional de-matting fees may apply for extended grooming time.

Most full service grooming appointments take 2–3 hours, depending on your dog’s size, coat condition, and temperament. A Basic or Premium Bath will take less time, depending upon the selected add-on services. We’ll call or text as soon as your pup is ready for pickup — or if you’re combining grooming with daycare, they can relax and play until you arrive.

We use only high-quality, dog-safe products that are gentle on skin and coat. If your dog has allergies or sensitivities, please let us know — we can select hypoallergenic or fragrance-free formulas to keep them comfortable.
