This is an innovative, new program designed to grow confidence and social skills in all dogs, but especially tailored to timid, anxious, under-socialized or nervous dogs. The program will provide benefits to dogs who have not encountered many new experiences with people and other dogs.
As we move beyond the pandemic, we have realized that many post-covid dogs have new and different needs. COVID-19 caused emotional harm for many dogs due to the inability of owners to socialize with their dogs and introduce them to new people, places, and things. We can help!

Program Details
- Our Pawsitive Experiences program is a unique 2-week session that offers a detailed curriculum specifically designed to build confidence and carefully and safely socialize your pup in new situations and with new people and other dogs.
- Choose from either 3 days a week, Monday, Wednesday, and Friday OR 2 days a week on Tuesday and Thursday for 2 weeks.
- This Full-Day program allows the shy dog more time to settle into our environment, and learn to trust and develop a relationship with our trainers, with Drop-off hours between 6:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.
- To receive the greatest benefit from each day’s curriculum, please plan to leave your dog until at least 4:30pm, but for your convenience you may pick up until 7:00 p.m.
- Each day includes a variety of socialization & confidence building activities tailored to the unique needs of your dog.
- Socialization sessions may include:
- Meeting new people
- Meeting new dogs, who are carefully selected by our trainers to ensure safe introductions.
- Lots of high value, yummy treats to reinforce these meetings, pet parents may supply daily treats if there are existing allergies.
- Confidence building activities such as basic manners work, agility for fun, rally for fun, or interactive games.
- Enrichment sessions or small group play time, if appropriate.

Who is this program best for?
- Dogs lacking confidence or who are shy or excessively nervous in new situations, with new people and/or other dogs.
- Dogs who did not have the opportunity for proper socialization during their critical developmental puppy stages.
- Recently adopted dogs who are still nervous in their new home (we suggest at least 4 weeks in a new home to develop a relationship with the new family)
- Dogs who desire to attend daycare but are too nervous or overwhelmed by the group play environment. Our Pawsitive Experiences program may be the perfect step to give them the confidence they need to love participating in our Traditional or Enrichment Daycare programs.

Understanding Your Dog’s Emotional Health
The emotional well-being of every dog who plays or stays with us is of utmost importance. It is always our goal for every dog to leave our care in as good, or better, physical, and emotional condition as when they arrived. We strive for every dog to learn new skills, grow their confidence and blossom in our Pawsitive Experiences program. Our dedicated trainers will keep you posted on your pup’s progress during their time with us and give suggestions for ways to work with your dogs at home to continue their transformation into a confident pup.
As we move beyond the pandemic, we have realized that many post-covid dogs have new and different emotional needs. We are here to help set your dog up for the greatest success!
Our Pawsitive Experiences program is a wonderful starting point to helping your shy or nervous pup gain confidence and become more comfortable in new situations. If necessary, our training team will suggest ongoing training beyond what they receive during the time they are with us to continue their progress. Every dog has different needs and will respond in different ways to the experiences we offer in this program.
